As a former Parent Associate for Parent Community Services Branch,Parent Education Component, I know that parents are a child's first teacher. I will advocate for school, family and community partnerships that increase student academic achievement and school engagement. I will promote programs such as GEAR-UP and Head Start to make sure that all children have an opportunity to succeed. |
