More JobsBy James E "Jim" ButlerCandidate for Mayor; City of Stockton | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
Create a commission which sole purpose is to bring long term good paying jobs back to Stockton. We have not made it a priority to bring long term good paying jobs back to Stockton. I would create a commission that would be responsible for increasing our Industrial and Manufacturing base causing our unemployment to decrease. The companies will be required to have a work staff comprised of 50 percent Stockton Citizens where possible. This will allow citizens to work in Stockton and raise their families with whole family units instead of moving out of Stockton to find jobs or traveling long distances. "More good family time". |
